One of the new faces in reception is Deb. Deb has worked in the veterinary industry for over 18 years, and we are lucky to have the wealth of knowledge and compassion to our furry patients and their people.

A little more about Deb:

  • Do you have a pet who came to you in an interesting way?
My one cat, "Baybrrs." I found and rescued her from my neighbor's backyard when she was about 1 week old. I got to feed her every 2 hours and hand raise her. It was a very amazing experience.

  • What inspired you to work with animals?
I have always had a love and connection with animals. Animals love you unconditionally and don't talk back to you (well, except for a few of my cats, haha)

  • Most memorable experience working with animals?
I've had so many memorable experiences working with animals, it is hard to choose just one. I was blessed to be a part of many pet’s lives from the beginning to the end.

  • What’s your favorite part of the job?
Getting to know clients and their pets. And being a part of the human/animal bond.

  • Do you have an all-time special pet - that “heart” animal, and what makes or made that animal such a soul mate?
Soul Dog – Bozley, a miniature dachshund. There aren’t enough words that describe him or our bond. If you have a soul animal, you understand. (Deb has a tattoo behind her ear of Bozley’s nose print that is a beautiful reminder of their special bond.)
